The presented switch is part of our GPEN concept, which aims to provide the speed and versatility of a fiber-optic network while taking advantage of the advantages of Ethernet. MikroTik netPower 15FR is a cheap and easy-to-implement device, ideal for Internet service providers delivering Internet to individual user apartments. Zero problems with power You don't have to worry about power supply in rooms such as attics or basements, because netPower 15FR offers 15 PoE return ports and, depending on the configuration, can draw the necessary power even for a single client. The Ethernet port is equipped with PoE-out to power another device, e.g. in the case of a wireless connection using Wireless Wire Dish. 2x SFP slots NetPower also offers 2x SFP slots in a weather-resistant external housing, which allows you to connect a fiber optic cable and achieve high performance in difficult environments, such as damp attics, basements or elevator shafts. The maximum non-blocking throughput is 3.6 Gb/s, the switching capacity is 7.2 Gb/s, and the packet forwarding speed is 5.4 Mp/s. The switch is equipped with a dual boot option, which allows the user to choose the operating system - RouterOS or SwitchOS.
