S4820-X Series Gigabit Switches from Fiberhome The S4820-X Series Gigabit Switches are next-generation Layer 2 and 3 devices developed by FiberHome for service providers and enterprise networks. The S4820-28T-X-AC switch provides large switching capacity and 24 Gigabit ports, enabling 10Gbit/s upstream transmission. It can be used in a variety of scenarios, such as in the convergence layer of large enterprise networks and campus networks, in the core layer of medium and small enterprise networks and in the edge layer of MAN networks, and as a desktop switch for GE terminal access. High Reliability The Fiberhome S4820-28T-X-AC provides Ethernet reliability technologies such as STP/RSTP/MSTP, Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (G.8032) with millisecond protection switching, and R-link and VRRP for link-level reliability. All S4820-X models support 1 fixed power supply, and the AC power supply and DC power supply can be used simultaneously. In addition, the switch supports error and alarm detection for the power and fan modules, and the fan speed can be automatically adjusted according to temperature changes.
