If you have security cameras, it is useful if you not only view the images live but also save them in case something goes wrong. With the UniFi Protect NVR 4 you have enough storage space; the NVR has room for four 2.5"/3.5" hard drives. Are you installing four (separately available) 8TB hard drives in RAID 5 configuration? The video recorder can then store 4K images from 15 UniFi cameras for 30 days or Full HD images from as many as 50 UniFi cameras.

UniFi Protect surveillance software

Using the integrated UniFi Protect software, you have easy access to the image recordings of your UniFi IP cameras. View the images live or afterwards via the intuitive web interface on your computer or via the handy mobile appAndroidandiOSsmartphones. The timelapse function allows you to easily scroll through the images to view a specific event. For security, the surveillance images are only stored on your hardware (the NVR) and not in the cloud.
