Secure communication and broad NFC support

The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Retrofit Reader uses RS-485 communication and OSDP v2 for secure, encrypted data exchange with your UniFi Access Retrofit Hub. In addition, the reader supports multiple NFC standards, including MIFARE Classic, DESFire, Plus and Ultralight. This makes the reader suitable for various access solutions within professional and business environments.

Robust access reader for indoors and outdoors

Thanks to the IP55-certified housing, the Ubiquiti UniFi Access Retrofit Reader is resistant to dust and splash water. This allows you to easily place the reader at entrances, gates or exterior doors. The combination of polycarbonate and aluminum ensures a robust construction, while the operating temperature of -30 °C to 50 °C ensures reliable operation under various conditions.

Easy installation and central management

The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Retrofit Reader comes with mounting accessories for wall mounting and can optionally be placed in a junction box. Management is done via the UniFi Access software, in which you centrally manage users, access rights and log files. This ensures clear and scalable access control within your organization.
