The small brotherThe IB-2217aStS offers place for one 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD and it is built into one 3.5" bay in the PC. The SSD/HDD are installed without a tray and therefore also without the use of any tool.Safe as wellEven though the IB-2217aStS offers place for only one HDD, it still is safe. A lock is available to keep unauthorized persons away, while internally, the HDD is connected with a SATA connector and the LED is connected seperately with a 4-pin connector.Cool and stableThe frame is made out of metal while the front panel is made out of high quality aluminium. Metals are known for their excellent heat conduction (passive convection). This provides a lower temperature without a need of a fan.
