WiFi 6 extender

Expand the WiFi coverage of your Ubiquiti UniFi network in your home or office using this Ubiquiti U6 Extender. It is compatible with UniFi access points (software version 6.0.11 or higher), UniFi Dream Machines (UDM, software version 1.12.22 or higher) and UniFi Dream Routers (UDR, software version 2.3.15 or higher). The dual-band extender supports speeds of up to 4.8 Gbps on the 5GHz frequency and uses WiFi 6 technologies such as 4x4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA. On the 2.4GHz frequency, the extender uses 2x2 MIMO and OFDMA and supports speeds up to 573.5 Mbps. The U6 Extender therefore provides strong and reliable connectivity even in environments with many wireless equipment.

Fast installation

Deploying this access point extender is as easy as connecting it. Thanks to its compact size, the Ubiquiti U6 Extender takes up little space and is hardly noticeable in its surroundings. You plug the extender into the wall socket, after which it can be included in your network within a few minutes. You then configure and manage the device via the UniFi Network web application or the mobile app.

Easy network management

Manage your Ubiquiti U6 Extender via the free UniFi Network Controller software (version 6.5.55 or higher). Using the management platform, you configure your access point extender and have a complete overview of your entire network. Perform firmware updates remotely and gain insight into all network users and guests. It is also possible to set up a guest network for your visit.
