Easily expand your network with a Ubiquiti UniFi switch. The USW-FLEX is a handy Gigabit switch that you can configure as desired and install in various ways. Thanks to 802.3af PoE support, you can provide up to 4 devices with a data connection and power via the network cable. For example, choose access points that provide an (outdoor) environment with WiFi or security cameras that keep an eye on everything.

Determine the PoE power via PoE input

The UniFi USW-Flex also has a port with PoE-in support. The PoE standard of the switch or PoE injector connected to it then determines the PoE budget of the switch. The PoE budget can vary from 8W (in combination with 802.af) to a maximum of 46W (in combination with 802.bt). This makes the USW-FLEX, as the name suggests, a flexible switch.NB:will you be using the UniFi USW-Flex with the Ubiquiti POE-50-60W PoE injector? You must set 'PoE Injector' as the power source via the UniFi controller, as the PoE injector is not automatically recognized by the switch. Onthis pagewe explain how you can change the setting.

Free useful management software

Easily manage and configure your switch remotely via the UniFi controller software (computer or laptop) and the UniFi app (smartphone). The switch has various layer 2 switching protocols and functionalities that you can set and adjust as desired. Management is very easy via the intuitive graphical interface of the software and app.

Various mounting options

The USW-FLEX can be placed in various ways: decide for yourself whether you simply place the switch down, hang it on the wall with a wall bracket or attach it to a pole or mast with the pole bracket. Mounting material is included for both wall mounting and pole mounting. You will also receive a port cover, which protects the Ethernet ports against various weather conditions. The housing is therefore splash-proof and protected against dust.
