Every child is unique in their own way. The one-size-fits-all education model is not only outdated, but harmful. We developed the Special Education Kit to help students struggling with social disorders and to improve the overall learning experience of all students. In this set, the robot plays the role of a student's companion in the world of confusing social norms and other everyday challenges. The robot is patient and can repeat the same activities many times, but it can also surprise, entertain and motivate students to do their best. Skills to Learn Promote students' emotional development by helping them recognize their own emotions and understand how they influence their behavior. Help develop communication skills with the included AAC communication system cards. Increase concentration and engagement with Photon Robot and exciting learning games. Support balanced development with activities and methods tailored to children's individual needs, abilities and limitations. How do you work with the complete package?  The kit's materials allow teachers to conduct group and individual lessons. The kit also allows special education teachers to deliver cognitive and social communication lessons. Each activity comes with detailed instructions on how to carry it out and points out which elements the teacher should pay particular attention to. The teacher receives a box with a robot, a set of 50 activities and other accessories. The activities consist of programming the robot's movement, the color of its antennae and the sounds it makes in a specific situation. As with any other kit, programming is simple and intuitive and requires no prior knowledge. Example lesson: A journey to the land of anger, sorrow and joy At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher tells the students that they will embark on a journey to the land of emotions and that the Photon robot will be their guide. The students line up behind the robot while the teacher prepares the robot's route with the Photon Badge. If the class is large, the teacher can use the Photon Joystick, which is easier to use. As soon as the robot sets off on the previously programmed route, the children follow it in a line. When the robot stops, it makes a sound that expresses an emotion. Ask students to guess which emotional "realm" they are currently in. Is it a kingdom full of funny people? Or maybe all of its residents are always angry? After making a guess, they illustrate e.g. B. through gestures or role-playing how they think people would behave in the respective kingdom. They continue their journey, stopping in various realms and repeating the activities previously described. During this activity, students will improve their ability to recognize and name basic emotions.
