["Together with some customers, we have designed an assembly that offers a variety of options for adapting signals between the DUT and the actual measurement facial expressions. The intended measurement card, the ALLDAQ ADQ-348, has 32 differential channels, each of which can be individually conditioned using the SCU. If a raw signal is connected to the SCU, it goes through the following steps: Input Coupling: Either DC or AC coupling can be set here. Attenuator: In order to reduce a high voltage to the level of the actual input, a gain between 0 and -47.95dB can be set here. Adaptation: In order to increase a low voltage to the level of the actual input, the respective gain is set here between +12.04 and +33.85dB. Amplifier and Digital Filter: To further refine the signal, a low-pass filter and further amplification can be added. The analog outputs can also be individually adjusted. Each of the 4 channels is divided into two paths, which in turn can be individually amplified, defined as a single-ended or differential output or switched as 50Ohm termination. This results in 8 analog channels. All functions that the ADQ-348 also offers are also made available by the ADQ-SCU. These include, for example: To easily switch consumers, there are 8x 6A/30VDC relays, each of which is switched in pairs. Here the inputs and outputs are not related to the measurement card. Since all functions of the SCU are controlled using I²C, it is possible to design additional functions and expansion modules. There are currently 2 mezanine boards available.
