["The RAK1904 is a WisBlock sensor that expands the WisBlock system with an acceleration sensor. A ready-to-use SW library and tutorial make it easy to build a motion data capture system. The RAK1904's ±2g to ±16g scale can be customized to suit your application requirements. Depending on the application, the data rate can be set from 1Hz to 5.3kHz. The RAK1904 combined with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core is a ready-to-use system for a motion tracking system, detecting and monitoring vibrations in rotating machinery, or even monitoring active volcanoes. The collected data can be sent via LoRaWan® communication, LoRa® point-to-point connections and BLE. The RAK1904 is ideal for battery-powered applications due to its low power consumption. In addition, the WisBlock system allows the module to be switched off completely to further reduce the system's power consumption. The RAK1904 accelerometer can be connected to other WisBlock sensors, such as a GPS module, to create an inertial navigation system.
