The 2N Access Unit 2.0 is an IP-based access control unit with an integrated controller for decentralized operation. The device is integrated directly into the IP network and does not require an external access controller. It has direct interfaces for door openers and door contacts and is suitable for both standalone installations and operation in centrally managed access systems. The power supply and data communication take place via Power over Ethernet (PoE), which reduces installation effort and cabling. The Access Unit 2.0 supports different authentication procedures and enables a project-specific selection of the appropriate access method. The flat, robust design allows for use in commercial, residential and infrastructural environments. 2N Access Unit 2.0 – Touch keyboard supports authentication via PIN entry via a capacitive touch keyboard. Suitable for access solutions without card management or as an additional authentication method.
