The Ubiquiti UniFi WAN Switch is designed to connect two compatible gateways simultaneously to a single ISP via Shadow Mode. This way your network remains operational, even if one of the gateways fails. For installations with multiple internet providers, you can easily add a second USW-WAN switch for full ISP redundancy.
Powerful switch performance in a compact housing
With a total switching capacity of 20 Gbps and non-blocking throughput of 10 Gbps, the Ubiquiti UniFi WAN Switch is a powerhouse in its class. The rackmount housing (1U) is made of durable SGCC steel, with ESD/EMP protection and a wide temperature range from -5 to 40°C. The switch is fully manageable via the UniFi Network Controller for central configuration, monitoring and updates.
