Does the Ubiquiti UISP-S-Pro Gigabit switch have a network connection and mains power? The switch then provides connected equipment with passive PoE power. The equipment therefore receives power and a data connection via one cable. The UISP Switch Pro is equipped with 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 16 of which provide 27V passive PoE out. Manage via UISP app and management platform

Compatibility with other systems

This AirOS product only works with other AirMAX AC products. This applies to all AirOS products running on AirOS 7 or higher. This means that you cannot use an AirMAX AP or CPE in combination with with another WiFi system. You therefore cannot use this as a universal WiFi transmitter for your smartphones or tablet. Both the software and hardware are also primarily aimed at point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connections.
