Extending your Ethernet network

The Ubiquiti UACC Long-Range Ethernet Repeater is an adapter that can be used both indoors and outdoors. The repeater extends your Ethernet network via a cable between your PoE switch and the UACC LRE. Because the UACC LRE extends your Ethernet network, devices at a greater distance can still be connected to your Ethernet network. This is optimal if, for example, you want to provide camera security at locations further away on your property.

Connect multiple repeaters

It is also possible to connect multiple UACC LRE together. This allows you to still connect devices that are located at a great distance from the PoE switch to your network. The UACC LRE provides a well-functioning Ethernet connection over a maximum distance of 1 km. Ubiquiti tested this by linking 9 UACC LRE together and connecting it to a camera. This UACC LRE chain managed to successfully connect an 802.3af device to a PoE switch over a distance of no less than 1 kilometer.

For extreme weather conditions

The Ubiquiti Ethernet repeater has a stainless steel waterproof housing (IPX5) and is designed to function reliably in extreme temperatures from -40 to 80° C. This means you can count on a good Ethernet connection regardless of the weather conditions. The 10kA+ overvoltage protection ensures that possible high peak currents do not damage your equipment.
