["RAK Wireless WisBlock IO Extention Board The RAK5804 is a WisBlock interface that expands the WisBlock system with a variety of additional interfaces. It is the solution to connect your own sensors, displays or buttons to your WisBlock solution. The RAK5804 provides interface pins as well as I2C and UART over 3 connectors to the user's application ports. These ports allow users to connect sensors, digital I/O, analog I/O, and slave devices via the I2C and UART ports to complete their final IoT solution. The RAK5804 combined with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core provides your solution with an interface to non-standard sensors and user interfaces. This interface is the bridge between such sensors and LoRaWan® communication, LoRa® point-to-point connections or BLE. The RAK5804 is ideal for battery-powered applications as the WisBlock system allows the module to be turned off completely to further reduce system power consumption. The circuits are also protected by TVS and prevent overloading of the output power by a PTC thermistor.
