Arduino® MKR THERM The MKR THERM Shield allows an MKR family board to sense temperatures from a Type K thermocouple and a DS18Bxx single-wire digital sensor. Thermocouple is a type of temperature sensor that provides high accuracy and wide measurement range. Its analog nature requires a specific interface, and this shield is based on the digital interface of the MAX31855 thermocouple. The two connections of the MKR THERM Shield allow the use of type K thermocouples with or without connectors on the metal wires. The MKR THERM Shield has its own library for reading the temperature measured by the thermocouple.
