It allows you to run patch cords connecting individual network components such as switches or patch panels. Like many network devices, it is mounted to the rack rails at the front and occupies a 1U area. 5 metal brackets make it easier to insert the cable. The organizer allows you to run cables horizontally from one side of the cabinet to the other or aesthetically arrange cables coming from the ports of an active device. You can use it with both copper and fiber optic cables.
