WiFi 7 speeds and channel widths

The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro XG Wall supports WiFi 7 (802.11be) and is 6 GHz ready, allowing you to utilize extra spectrum for busy networks and modern clients. The maximum data rate is up to 5.8 Gbps on 6 GHz (with 320 MHz channel width), up to 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz (240 MHz) and up to 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (40 MHz). Support for EHT channel widths (20/40/80/160/240/320 MHz) allows you to tailor the access point to your RF design and available spectrum space. This makes it easier to achieve high performance without your network becoming unstable due to overly aggressive settings.

Wall mounting with 10 GbE uplink

Because you mount this model on the wall, you place the WiFi source close to the user and keep ceilings and workstations free of equipment. The 10 GbE RJ45 port is an important difference from many other wall access points, because it prevents the wired connection from throttling wireless performance. The housing is compact (155 x 108 x 33.5 mm) and made of polycarbonate with aluminum (alloy) parts, which suits professional use. You feed via PoE+, so you do not need an extra power point at the mounting location.

UniFi management and guest network features

With UniFi Network you can centrally manage the Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro XG Wall and make settings consistent across multiple locations. Think of band steering, advanced radio management, 802.11k/v/r for roaming and wireless meshing for situations where cabling is not possible everywhere. For guest access, there are extensive options such as captive portal with own branding, voucher and password authentication and support for external portal servers. Functions such as client device isolation, guest network isolation, WiFi schedules and WiFi speed limiting also help to keep your network manageable and secure.
