By using two of these devices and pointing them at each other, you can easily connect two buildings. This way you can share an internet connection in a smart way or ensure that each branch always has a backup.

A bracket for mast mounting is included as standard and you can quickly align the unit using LEDs for the best result. The dish has a diameter of 300mm and can be adjusted as desired.

Power supply and networkThe Ubiquiti Powerbeam M5 has 1 LAN connection of 1000 Mbps which is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) to provide the unit with power and network connection. This way you only have to run 1 cable to the access point and there does not need to be a power supply nearby. The Powerbeam M5 works on 24V, 0.5A PoE power supplies.

You can easily install and manage the access point via Ubiquiti's AirOS system. It is possible to monitor the throughput speed and link status of your connections.Spectrum analyzerUsing the free spectrum analyzer software you can quickly detect any malfunctions.
