PowerBeam 2AC with new features

The Ubiquiti PowerBeam 2AC is an outdoor access point, intended for setting up point-to-point connections. The antenna of this model transmits a targeted signal and is therefore able to filter out disturbing environmental signals. In addition, the PowerBeam 2AC contains a separate WiFi radio for connection with the UNMS app on your mobile phone or tablet. You can easily manage and configure the access point remotely via the UNMS app (iOS and Android).

Perfect for point-to-point WiFi

The Ubiquiti PowerBeam 2AC 400 is a perfect solution for setting up a point-to-point WiFi connection. This way you can connect two nearby buildings by aligning two of these units against each other. You share one network in a smart way and ensure that each branch has a backup connection. And that completely without cables.

Power supply and network

The Ubiquiti PowerBeam 2AC 400 has 1 Gigabit LAN connection with passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. The supplied PoE injector is required for this (24V, 0.5A PoE). In this way, the unit is supplied with both power and a network connection via the network cable, which is ideal for (outdoor) locations where there is no power socket. The dish has a diameter of 400mm and can be adjusted as desired. You can read the signal strength using the four integrated LEDs and thus determine the best position for the device. You will receive a pole mounting bracket with this access point as standard. A protective dome is available separately.

airOS 8 software for easy management

You can easily install and manage the access point via Ubiquiti's airOS 8 software. It is also possible to monitor the throughput speed and link status of your connections. Using the free spectrum analyzer software you can quickly detect any malfunctions. The software shows you on which channels within the 2.4 GHz spectrum equipment is active. Thanks to this software you can always choose the right channel so that your connection is the most optimal.
