Nanobeam AC with new functions

The Ubiquiti Nanobeam AC Gen2 is the improved successor to the Ubiquiti Nanobeam AC. The antenna of this model transmits a more targeted signal and is therefore even better able to filter out disturbing environmental signals. In addition, the Nanobeam AC Gen2 contains a separate WiFi radio for connection with the UMobile app on your mobile phone or tablet. You can easily manage and configure the access point remotely via the UMobile app (iOS and Android).

Perfect solution for Point to Point WiFi

The Ubiquiti Nanobeam AC Gen2 is an excellent solution for setting up a point to point WiFi connection. This way you can connect two nearby buildings by aligning two of these units against each other. You intelligently share one internet connection and ensure that each branch has a backup connection. And that completely without cables.

Power supply and network

The Ubiquiti Nanobeam AC Gen2 has 2 Gigabit LAN connections with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support (PoE injector 24V, 0.5A PoE required). The unit can be supplied with both power and network connection via the network cable, which is ideal for locations where there is no power socket available. The dish has a diameter of 189mm and can be adjusted as desired. You can read the signal strength using the integrated LEDs and thus determine the best position for the device. A bracket for mast mounting is included as standard.

AirOS for easy management

You can easily install and manage the access point via the Ubiquiti AirOS system. This makes it possible to monitor the throughput speed and link status of your connections. Using the free spectrum analyzer software you can quickly detect any malfunctions. The software shows you on which channels within the 5 GHz spectrum equipment is active. Thanks to this software you can always choose the right channel so that your connection will achieve optimal results.

AirControl

Ubiquiti AirControl allows you to manage your entire Ubiquiti network from the cloud. This way you can easily roll out firmware updates for all your access points and you have a handy overview of all your equipment.

No seamless roaming

Ubiquiti's access points do not support seamless roaming. The access points you are looking at are also only suitable for point-to-point solutions and not as an access point for a daily WiFi network.
