IBM QLogic enet 8GB fibre channel expansion card F/BLADE
The IBM 44X1940 Ethernet and 8 Gb Fibre Channel Expansion Card (CFFh) for IBM BladeCenter attaches on the blade server and allows connectivity to high-speed switch bays. This new expansion card provides flexibility for connecting the blade server to the horizontally oriented BladeCenter H module in bays 7 and 8 or 9 and 10 when using the Multi-Switch Interconnect Module. The IBM 44X1940 8GB CFFh Combo card provides the highest data integrity by ensuring Overlapping Protection Domains on both the control and data paths. The IBM 44X1940 dual-port design protects against single point of failure via BladeCenter midplane routing to redundant switch modules. Features a highly desirable combination adapter that enables two 8Gb Ethernet ports, along with two 1Gb Ethernet ports.
